Features I'd like to see:
-A separate option in the bios to shutdown the computer based on CPU temp  or Fan RPM speed.
-S.M.A.R.T of all fan headers

Correct
-A separate option in the bios to shutdown the computer based on CPU temp  or Fan RPM speed.
 
What Current Motherboard Bios Can Shutdown the OS if the CPU fan stops or if the CPU Temp get to high.
 
The CPU Thermal will power off a computer but will not shutdown an OS. 
 
I can add this now as well "-S.M.A.R.T of all fan headers"
My MSI and ASUS Motherboards do not have this on ALL the Fan Headers.

Both Intel and AMD RYZEN motherboards have very strong safety features to turn off the PC completely if the CPU overheats beyond a certain limit. With RYZEN I believe it's a bit over 90 degrees Celsius. On some Intel and AMD motherboards this can be adjusted to a lower temp but never a higher temp.

Hello all, 
 
New to the EVGA forums, right now running an E5-2650 V4 in a full ATX build (MSI x99S Sli Plus). I Really want an mATX form factor and was looking into the X99 Micro 2. Does this bios update add functionality to a Xeon V4 CPU? I know official support on the CPU lists are showing only V3 Xeons. Are any of you running Xeon V4 series chips in your EVGA boards?

I guess there will be no more bios updates for the x99 motherboard? I thought another big bios update would be coming soon but guess not?

Why do you say this, ATM my X99 is running Rock Solid (Bios 2.03) so what is it you are looking for in a New Bios?
