X79 FTW rig and issue help bios screen and monitor

Hello, right now i have my rig hooked up to 3 screens, my main monitor "hdmi" my tv "hdmi" and my other monitor i have to have because i cant see my bios without it and that is hooked up through dvi. for some season the x79 ftw will only show bios through a dvi monitor. is there a way around this so i can eliminate a monitor i dont need otherwise just to see my bios. i have tried having my main monitor hooked up through only hdmi but that doesn't seem to do the trick. does anyone know the reason for this or how to fix it thank you. i suppose i could make my main monitor dvi but this defeats the purpose of hdmi. any info much aprieciated, thank you

    Same on all of the EVGA X79 MB when it comes to the DVI Port and the Bios.
    I also see this on my ASUS X79 MB as well.

    any fix? you would think they would make a bios update for this...

    I would say it is by design first the Chipset *X79 and then the design of the Motherboards.
    Not seeing a Bios would fix this whether on the EVGA MB or even the ASUS Motherboard.
    Also DVI is Old School and you and everyone else including me will have to move on.
