I was recently given this motherboard, with i7 cpu and 32 GB on RAM.
Everything seems to work fine, until I try to install the Chipset, USB3.0, or any other driver I get for it from the EVGA website. as soon as I install one, I get a BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH and it just keeps restarting over and over. but it works fine as long as let Windows 10 use it's own drivers except for the USB 3.0, that keeps dying on me and reverting to 2.0.
Any Suggestions??

As an after thought I have the latest 2.13 BIOS on 1, and 2.12 on the other 2 BIOS chips, changing that doesn't seem to do anything different

Can you verify that you did indeed download the 64 bit drivers for USB 3.0. Despite the fact these drivers are not for Windows 10 they should work. If these are not working then revert to Windows 10 drivers. Go into the device manager and find Universal Serial bus controllers. Double click on this and find the USB 3.0 root controller. Right click this and choose properties and then choose the details tab. Click the property box and choose hardware IDs. Past that info into this thread. You only have 1 post on the forums so you can't post links yet. A screenshot might be possible so try that as well.

The EVGA download center on shows 1 usb 3.0 driver version 1.16.4.0 150-SE-E789, That is the one I downloaded and tried to install.
as far as looking for the USB 3.0 root controller, with me running the windows 10 drivers I don't have that under Universal Serial Bus controllers, I have 2 (ASMedia USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 0.96 (Microsoft))
    4 - generic USB Hub
    1 - Intel(R) C600/x79 series chipset USB2 Enhanced Host Controller #2 - 1D2D
    1 - Intel(R) C600/x79 series chipset USB2 Enhanced Host Controller #1 - 1D26
    3 - USB Composite Device
1 - USB Mass Storage Device
2 - USB Root Hub, and
2 - USB Root Hub (xHCI)
That's all I see, and that may be What my USB 3.0 keeps reverting to 2.0 but I can't seem to get the evga drivers to work without crashing my system

When I go into the EVGA download site and just pick USB 3.0( the one I downloaded) it only says OS=ALL

Just a thought here.  Have you checked the BIOS > Advanced tab > Onboard Device Config > make sure all your devices in the list are enabled from the Marvell Sata Raid down to the USB 3.0 ports.

You do have something abnormal going on as I can confirm that my Dark board is running all the current drivers (not from MS) with Win10.

Mine are all Evga drivers except Bluetooth. Only the MS Bluetooth driver works on my Dark.
