X58 Classfied 3 16gb ram not working

Hi I have 4 modules of Kingston KVR16N11S8 / 4 (4x4gb), but my motherboard only recognizes 12GB. It is an X58 Classfield 3 (141-GT-E770)
I'm using the 2,4,1,3 slots. even if I use slot 2,4,6 and 1 or 3 does not recognize 16gb. (CPU is an I7 950)
 
Aida-64 and Cpu-z Recognizes 16gb, but windows and bios don`t. 
 
I know it's an old motherboard, but it's possible that someone can help, I'll be grateful.

    Welcome to the forums.
     
    See: Why does my X58 show less memory in windows as available then the Maximum I have installed into the motherboard? in the EVGA FAQs for some things to check/try.
     
    I think changing the Memory Low Gap might be needed..If it's already on [Auto], try changing it to 3G..Best guess.

    I discovered that one of the memories is defective. I tested it one by one, had one that did not turn on the pc. I'll have to settle for 12GB now.

    Thanks for the feedback..Glad you found out the issue ..Check the Kingston website, may have a lifetime warranty.
