GPU: GTX 1070 Hybrid
Monitor 1: 144hz 1080p acer vg271 connected via DP
Monitor 2: 60hz 1080p viewsonic vx2270 connected via DVI
I set Monitor 1 as my primary monitor both in windows and nvidia control panel.
However, when I boot my pc, the bios and boot screens run on monitor 2 and monitor 1 does not turn on until the windows login screen.
When I remove monitor 2, it boots on monitor 1 just fine.
Also, I set my screens to turn off after 5 min idle. When I resume monitor 2 will turn on first and have all my desktop icons and running programs/behave like the primary monitor for a split second then, monitor 1 will turn on and all the icons and apps jump over to monitor 1.
Is there some kind of booting/detection priority order I can somehow change on the GPU? How do I do it? Is there something else causing this? How do I fix it?
Thank you so much for your help.
