Ive been waiting for it to be in stock, what a suprise the price went up from 1349 to 1499.  Still no stock of course but I was shocked thats quite a price hike.

Yea noticed my second choice 2080 ti XC2 went from 1299 to 1399 as well.  Bummer

Ok, whatever. But in all fairness...that IS the reason the price went up. Tariffs which were caused by him. 

Been eyeing the FTW3 Ultra, and hoping for a hybrid version to be released. As if the prices weren't already high enough, I'm now starting to think I'll be holding onto my 1080 FTW hybrid a bit longer than I intended.

Tariffs doesn't sound right.  The RTX 2080 didn't see a price increase.  I haven't checked the other graphics card, but ONLY the TI saw an increase..  Really odd.

LOL i keep wanting to blame these prices we are seeing on tariffs too guys, but they haven't hit yet. I think it will be more obvious when they do. everything everywhere is gonna go up.
 
these prices are bloody ridiculous for there not to be tariffs affecting production costs tho... you would figure theres something like that... I mean i remember complaining about 780Ti KPC being 700-800 $
honestly I wonder if it isnt to do with increased RMA due to OC or something? maybe they are losing tons of money?
I dont know why but its getting ridiculous n seriously needs to stop. Only reviewers can competitively OC these days

It is due to tariffs guys. If a company has stockpile of products in US warehouses, they do not immediately get a tariff increase. If a company needs to ship coming from overseas....they do. Jan 1st the rest of the tariffs hit.

With all due respect, check your facts.  The increase in tariffs were suspended in the mist of trade negotiations. 
 
Anyhoo, this is only with the Ti's and not the rest of the GPUs which is really odd.  Something is going on and would like to know why, not to mention Nvidia promising the masses of a $999 Ti GPU.  This is odd it came around when a 2nd game was added to the bundle when there's barely any stock/customer to give the codes too.  LOL  I guess I should be grateful for snagging one a few weeks ago before the price increases.

The $126 billion auto tariffs were added later to the already $200 billion worth of goods suspended through March.

I'm guessing a higher than expected number of RMAs are responsible for the availability, and a combination of that and AMDs GPU bombing were responsible for the price hike.
