Hi, currently i'm using a Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 and a 3080 gpu which occupies 3 slots basically (one for air) and both of the nu audio cards with one slot separation and is great but I might change my motherboard for other model and the pcie slots would be all together and the cards will not have a separation. Touching the main card is gets pretty hot already.. can this be a problem?.

No, heat isn't really an issue with these cards.  There are only a few components that get warm, and the heat on the backplates and shrouds is a good sign that heat is being transferred away from components.  Overall, most of the components are rated for very high temperatures anyway, so as long as you get some airflow to the cards, you shouldn't have any issues.

I don't think so.

The heat is too small.

But it you put near the RTX, could be a problem :)

its all fine as long as you are far away from the videocard. Mine is hard pressed between CPU cooler and videocard backplate since I have burned a better slot... It still works fine though.

You should be good. The NU audio doesn’t seem to get hot and as long as you have some airflow around the 3080 it should be good.
