Thinking about getting the elite member status, my cards serial is buried in a messy build right now. I noticed EVGA says "qualifying" GTX and RTX cards. It's an EVGA GTX 650 Ti, would I qualify for it?

I doubt it.  It has to be several cards over the years  /  or several purchases in the past 12 months alone...
or 100 forum posts total , before you can apply.

you can use another members link to sign up , but you still need to qualify with the previous criteria.
    Your Elite ID: 4NE5K5MYGDULCPYONKQ
    Elite ID referral link: https://www.evga.com/member/elite/?referralid=4NE5K5MYGDULCPYONKQ

For Memberships acquired via registered EVGA products:
Register your EVGA products at https://www.evga.com/support/register.asp.
Once your products are registered, or if you've already registered your products, please confirm that the products show up here: https://www.evga.com/community/myProducts.asp.
If you have the necessary qualifying products registered on your account, you will be able to submit a form on this page to become an EVGA ELITE member. A complete list of qualifying products may be located above.

Just read the rules on the page. I've bought several cards over the years, but I think I qualified just off of the 10 series from 4 years ago. At least for GPUs, I don't think earlier than that qualifies.

But apparently I need 100 posts before the signature will show the banners? Shrug.

I think as a buyer you're better off just using someone else's code though, I don't think you get the general discount on purchases as an Associate but as an Elite. If you qualify for Elite you qualify for Associate.

Anyone can use the referral link and save the 5-10% except for associate rewards members who can’t use codes. Associate Rewards members get 3% in EVGA bucks for every purchase someone else makes which means if you can refer 2-4 people to buy a product you come out with a larger discount but if you don’t have a lot of gamer friends it might not be the way to go. While it does take Elite membership to join the Associate Rewards program it’s not automatic meaning they get to decide if they want to go the discount code or the referral way but both do get Elite discounts like the access to Kingpin ordering and the savings on the capture card, keyboard and the Mouse.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

I went to check....received an email saying: "the red carpet of EVGA ELITE MEMBERSHIP was waiting for my presence"  j/k
    I joined!

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

You can find a full list on EVGA site of things that qualify. For GPUs only 10 series up.
But there are some mice, keyboards and power supplies in there as well...

It’s pretty BS that my SC15 doesn’t qualify for elite status. It was a $2k laptop too.

One way is to make at least 100 posts before you are qualified to apply for the membership.
