Looking for On-ear headphones, don’t need active noise canceling, I need to be able to hear when the wife be yelling me :)

Need something with pretty low frequencies to mid highs and not overly bass. $100 ish? A few dollars more if it’s worth it! Thx, Knight’

Stereo, don’t want surround, just great speakers, great Quality, well balanced ohms, good vocals, some music “classic hard rock” and footsteps “single player... I don’t want a gaming headset.

I'm not a big fan of ON EAR head phones but Grados are probably one of the best for ON EAR.

The Sennheiser HD 559 (open-back) or 569 (closed-back) are in that price range and won't require a headphone amp to drive. Though I'd wait and try to find the 599's on sale at that price if you don't mind open-back.

    Hear me out.
I own loads of headphones ( Like I have a wall of headphones) from Bose to B&W. From $25 to $500 sets.

Best ( or 2nd) pair I own are From Monoprice and are $25 bucks.

Little higher than what you're looking to spend but VModa makes some absolutely great headphones. Both construction and quality are top notch and you can buy replacement parts for nearly the entire thing. Warranty support is great too. https://www.v-moda.com/us.n/products/crossfade-lp2
