FELLOW EVGA'ERS PLEASE HELLPPPP

I finished putting a small build together today, and installed a fresh version of windows 7 everything fired up perfectly cpu not overheating, windows installed fine.  Upon connect an ethernet cable I get no connection.  I dig deeper and find out that apparently my network adapter is either missing, or hasn't updated for some reason.  I've called both Microsoft and my ISP to see if they could assist but no dice.
The only thing I was able to find out from the ISP is that apparently my pc has no IP address.  At this point I've hit a dead end and don't know what else to do to troubleshoot this problem.

EVGA z170 stinger

On another note, I did replace the bios chip as the one that it had installed before was giving me a bios error.

there is a setting in UEFI BIOS that must be set for windows 7 .  Also for ipaddress you could manually set it to 192.168.1.1
use "route /?" for info on cmd to find and or change routes ... i.e. route PRINT with show current route table .. there should be a default ...Other thing is go into your ISP router and see what is its config.   Good luck

    Fix these issues
    1. Check the power management of your network adapter
    2. Update your network adapter driver

Out of curiosity, why are you still using Windows 7? It's a serious security issue, and you can still upgrade to Windows 10 for free ;)
