Debating on if there are any benefits to upgrade to Windows 10 even though my PC was originally made for Windows 7.
Thoughts? Because I'm wondering if switching to DirectX 12 (I just got a new GeForce 2070) will function better, higher fps etc.
Or is it even worth it. I love Windows 7. And I've never liked the bloatware that appears to be Windows 10 and the fact that I run some old school games worries me as well as I know people who have had nothing but problems with Windows 10. Is it actually worth upgrading or does it make a difference with this card really whether or not its on DX11 or DX12?

The RTX 2070 needs Windows 10 for Ray Tracing, DLSS, and DX12. If you want to game with those options use Windows 10. As mentioned in post 2 you can customize quite a bit.

Specs: AMD 2920X Threadripper, Corsair MP510 M.2, 128GB Corsair RGB Vengeance Pro,  ASRock X399 Taichi, Corsair 1000D, EVGA RTX 2070
