The rise of Windows 7 users is rather surprising. Apparently there is no explanation for the increase.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

Yes there is, it's their inept ability to give people what they want. It's a very simple five letter word. Power. We want control again. Not things forced upon us and have to go and constantly monitor and undo and set stuff up to stop Microstupid from doing things we don't want. They are slowly understanding. Eventually they will completely. I see some annoyance pop up at least once a month with Windows 10, and that is what keeps me on 7.

No explanation for the increase? Please, give me a break. They need to stop thinking their new OS is so grand.

Windows update applied. Oh look, nvidia drivers updated without notice, and settings changed. Look, cortana is back, after removing it. All of the widgets I removed have repopulated. Oh loom, games no longer work because they forced everyone to be on build 1611 or the game wouldnt work...

Microsoft forcing ignorant updates is the reason they are losing people.

I have been using windows 10 a very long time, long before RTM

some problems with policies are slowly getting fixed, recall there will be 2 releases each year now instead of a big releases service packs and so on every few years

while the next release is penciled in for april, the following release will definitely work more towards mobile users

how many use an iphone, how many use android phones, mobile is big so windows needs to firm up at home with laptops or gaming boxes etc

Corsair Obsidian 750D Airflow Edition + Corsair AX1600i PSU
My desktop uses the ThinkVision 31.5 inch P32p-20 Monitor.
My sound system is the Edifier B1700BT

Sorry, but Microsoft has brought this on themselves.  The two biggest issues with W10 are hardware updates (video drivers, chipset drivers, etc) and snooping.  How many of us are using alternative software to shut it all down?

Even when you select the option in Win 10 - Not to Update drivers.  Why give users an option and then ignore the customer's selection ?

Windows 10 isn't that bad once it gets to know you.

It's just the randomness of the poll results. It's within the margin of error. What would make someone think 1.67% is a conclusive statistic?
