Greetings,
Was hoping to get through this build without a problem but no such luck. I can't get windows 10 to install on a new system but I may know why so looking for guidance, but first my system specs.
Z390 Dark Mobo, I9-9900KF cpu, EVGA RTX 2070 super video card, Evga 1000W psu, Corsair Vengeance 32gb ram, Samsung 970 EVO plus NVME M.2 500Gb Ssd drive.
My plan was to install Windows 10 on the M.2 drive and nothing else and then the other software on another drive which I don't have yet. I updated the bios to 1.07 with no issue. It appears the Bios recognizes everything, however when I go to the boot tab the M.2 drive is not recognized as well as the USB boot drive for windows. It only recognizes it when Legacy is selected. I changed the boot order so the Usb would boot first, restarted the system and just a dash blinks on the upper left corner of the screen. I'm thinking the problem might be because I downloaded Windows 10 using a MacBook. I downloaded the iso file and then created the boot portion using bootcamp. The USB remained fat 32 format so I was reasonably confident that it would work, but considering the M.2 drive and USB is not recognized when UEFI is selected I don't know what to think, any suggestions would be helpful.
