lol i don't think many more 3080s will get made.. when the 3070ti is almost exactly the same price it doesn't make sense to have two cards priced the same with that big of performance gap

Nvidia has halted production on the 2000 series to help boost production of the 3000 series. Nvidia also may be using Intel's fabs to build GPUs 'in an emergency'.. So I wouldn't give up hope just yet.

Lol. I waited 9 months and then when I got within a few minutes I went out and bought a new PSU, new case, etc. And here I sit waiting.
I don't mind being patient if I could get some confirmation that there would be more 3080 drops. But people keep asking Jacob on twitter and he hasn't addressed it; he only gives updates on the TIs.

well last night bestbuyhad it listed as discontinued and then it disappeared. like i said the 3070ti replaced the 3080 price wise so why wold evga make two same priced cards with a huge performance gap? makes more sense to just make the cheaper card and sell it for a 3080 pprice right

I could be wrong, but my guess is that the next batch of 3080 will be the LHR sku. They will probably move people on the “old” 3080 sku queue over to the LHR sku queue.

ASUS has already started with its 3070s and I believe there is another company also announced. The plan is to start making these in end of May. Not sure when is the drop.
