I apologize if this is an obvious answer. I haven’t built a PC in a long time. Im currently in the (very slow) process of building a new one. EVGA has a sale on their Z690 Classified motherboard today. Im planning on buying it. But I have a question…. I think I’m going to get one of the new Intel 13th gen CPUs when they come out. Maybe the 13700k. I’ve read that they will work with current gen Z690 motherboards. So I’m guessing the EVGA Classified will support it right? It would just need a new bios update? If so, would I need to upload that new bios update (when it becomes available) onto a USB stick and plug that into my new pc? I’ll likely have my new CPU in there as well so I’m guessing I won’t be able to boot up normally with it until the bios is updated. Will that be an issue? Will that work?
Any and all Info you can provide me will be great. Thanks!
