I ordered an X299 Dark and it was shipped out earlier this week. Does anyone know what BIOS it might have? Will it work with Skylake X refresh? I don't have access to a 7 series Skylake X CPU and will be getting a 9800x only. Thanks

    They claimed the system will still boot and operate enough for you to update the bios

    OK cool. Thanks for letting me know. I hope it turns out to be true. Would suck to have all my parts but have to wait to have a BIOS chip shipped to me.
