Will my EVGA ACX CPU FAN fit the new intel i7 8th generation?

Hey,
 
I have an EVGA ACX CPU FAN cooler back from 2012/2013, i currently have an i5 3570k and i was wondering if it fits the new i7 intel 8th generation socket?
Will this CPU fan work with the new intel sockets and motherboards? 7th/8th generation cpu''s? will it fit or is it too old?
It says it fits 1151 but not 1151v2 idk if it's outdated or not, EVGA support didn't help me with this, they just gave me this PDF.

    1151 mounting holes are equal to 1151v2.

    The 1151v2 name was created by intel because they made some changes on the pinout for the 8th gen CPU.
    So, if it says it is compatible with 1151, it shouldn't be an issue to fit it on the 1151v2 as well.

    This guy from reddit had the same doubt about fitting older coolers to newer gen CPU
