Will evga come out with a 12 pin cable for existing power supplies

i was wondering if evga will come out with a 12 pin cable for pre existing PSU. instead of useing the short 2 8pin to 12pin dongle that comes with the 3000 series.

    It's already announced that EVGA has one ready.
