I dont have my hopes high on seeing this on the X299 Dark, it stays quiet sadly enough.
I would be very happy to see this feature though and it would raise my faith in EVGA products into the future and as a smaller company.

IT CAN happen, it is just a matter of management actually caring and saying YES YES YES. So I say that management should push it up the chain please and their software engineers getting on it coding wise firmware/assembly level programming

Dang, sounds like my X99 board paired with my 3090 FTW3 that gets 60fps in Cyberpunk on a 4k screen, is considered to old to get any updates despite there being support. I guess the bump in performance depends on game, but still it would have been nice. This won't get me to upgrade though, I am waiting for Thunderbolt 4 and DDR5 before I do that.

This article https://forums.guru3d.com...support-issues.435389/ implies that for re-size BAR to work Above 4G Decoding must be enabled and CSM disabled. It also implies that when enabling ReBAR in other manufacturer’s BIOS Above 4G and CSM are automatically updated to required values.

I’ve just enabled ReBAR on my X299 Dark and that did -NOT- update values for Above 4G and CSM, it left them at their defaults (of disabled and enabled, respectively).

Please advise what is the correct complete way to enable ReBAR support.

CSM must be off. SSD must be at GPT partition. 4G decode and BAR setting must be turned on. @EVGA  will gtx 10 series and 20 series and 9 series get firmware upgrades for cards?? We could use the update on all models. Please and thank you, never stop being great with your software team and many more customers will come your way.

Thank you! What is the reason, please, you ask EVGA about firmware update for 20 series? Are you implying ReBAR won't work with them without firmware update?

Motherboard BIOS, GPU VBIOS, and graphics driver all need to be updated to have support from what I've seen.

NVIDIA appears to be offering support for 30 Series cards only at this time.  If NVIDIA offers support for other GPU series, of course we'll look into it.

Thank you for the reply and clarification! Please allow me suggestion that EVGA should, when rolling out new BIOS features, give users some guidance on what new BIOS features requires to work and how to enable it correctly (especially when that is not done automatically) as that would likely help avoid potential failures, frustration  and need for support by those that are less knowledgeable.

on the RX 6800XT graphics cards, there is no way to enable this. If you turn off CSM, it boots into Black and white screen at 640x480 resoultion. If you turn it on it gets stuck at error code 92. I don't think this is an EVGA problem more a problem with the card, but anyone else seen this?

That is correct. For some reason the card has to have CSM on. There is a couple of other places that this has come up always causing bios code 92 when booting. I'm all ears if anyone has a work around. At this point I'm just biding my time for my 3080 que to hit and going to sell the 6800xt for what I paid for it and move on.

Funny enough, my system got into a total boot hang (no getting into the BIOS) after I updated my x299 FTW K and my Adaptec 8805 RAID card.

I had been booting just fine with CSM off, full UEFI mode, but the RAID card update broke that and required that CSM be enabled. It was a HUGE pain in the posterior finding that out (it's a really big and HEAVY computer), as I had to physically remove the card and set CSM on and plug it back in. Clearing CMOS actually defaults to CSM off as well. Thankfully I was able to downgrade the RAID card's firmware and it's back to working and I put in a ticket with Microsemi.

So, likely a VBIOS update will fix things for AMD users, and I'd recommend opening a ticket with them.

So far I'm not impressed with AMD's driver/support. I do like the card, its a beast when it's running correctly but they have a lot to learn still on drivers and support for the customer.
