As you know lot of companies are showing a new Z790 boards supporting 14th gen Raptor Lake Refresh (Computex 2023). Evga Z690 and Z790 Kingpin from power requirement point of view are already ready, more than ready and I just wonder will eVga support 14th gen on Z690 as well?

Thank you.

Intel hasn't even confirmed 14th-gen lineup yet. EVGA likely isn't going to confirm anything before that.

adding to that, there's no guarantee that Intel will keep the same socket size .....so....I'd just wait.

ASRock and others showed entire lineup of motherboards with 1700 socket 14th gen ready, which is Raptor Lake Refresh.

Past few days there have been a bunch of articles cropping up about Raptor Lake Refresh supporting 1700.
    https://www.hardwaretimes.com/asrock-preps-mobos-for-intels-14th-gen-raptor-lake-s-refresh-high-power-draw-expected-report/

It would be nice if EVGA can confirm if the Z690s and 790s will get an update just in time. I came here to open a thread exactly for this, but I discovered one was already open.

Ah, I didn't see that one...apologies! Well, hopefully the boards are compatible.

I hope so too because I am sure Raptor Lake Refresh will require more power but also these Evga boards are more than capable of delivering it.

Saw some guy on yt making a big deal about having a 21 phase vram was needed for refresh.
    Z690 dark Kingpin has that.
Also really lga 1700 socket so if that is not supported would expect all mobo sites to clarify that it is not when the new cpus out.
