HawkOculusIt’s because the EVGA website is apparently running on servers older than all of the active members of the website. They cannot handle the load of a wet fart, let alone thousands and thousands of people (and probably a few bots, lol) refreshing the webpage constantly. EVGA also does not have things partitioned in a way that a webshop crash won’t affect everything else. So if one part goes down the whole thing goes down. Hence the auto notify emails don’t go out because the entire thing tanks. For whatever reason EVGA has no desire to actually update their website to actually be up to standards in 2020.
turginSo, the promised "1000s" of cards available this week was yesterday 9/21?
rain2_usaPlus the FTW3 Ultra *should* be releasing this week as well,
aka_STEVE_bI noticed that lately the 'auto notify' feature has been removed from sites such as Best Buy, Newegg, & Nvidia store for the 3080 cards I put in for... I previously used the feature from all 3 places , but went back after 'paper launch day' and have found them to be missing now . I have no idea why, nor has it been mentioned in the news articles either....?
dustinggEVGA like to make Twitter announcements instead of giving loyal customers a chance at purchasing.
Nereus I received an auto-notify today for the 2070 Super (with the blower shroud), so it's still working.
