ipkhaIt's simply a matter of PCI layout.If you check you info/log on advanced control you can see your GPU bus location on the pcie chain. And the matching cuda and OpenCL ids.It really depends on how your motherboard slices up the pci lanes and how it routes them.
Cool GTXMy Rig Nibbler has 3 GPU ... to figure out which GPU / Slot - was which for OC .... EVGA Precision Position VS Folding slot number I just paused 1 GPU at a time .... & found the Precision GPU that then down clocked to match being paused Note: if you Manually remove a Slot ... then re-enable (manually reload the slot) - the Folding Slot Position/ Assignment can Move
