Vary nice looking system RJ,
With 0811 microcode, my system will run all the Samsung pre-loaded profiles just fine with the G.SKILL kits, you should be good to go. 
The 4800MHz Dell kit has the SK hynix ICs, will run 6200MHz 1T fully stable with fairly tight timings @ 1.43v
nice! yes the blades are hynix as well, they're a special batch of 10 layer pcb sticks i got through a friend who was kind enough to offer them up when he heard some folks in his chinese oc group were hunting them. they weren't cheap, but so far i've been able to boot in to windows at 6800 and 6666, but not stable so i'm currently in process of tightening 6400 1T 1.35v. they're expensive but so far seem to have been worth it. if i can sneak away today i'm hoping to take the system cold and see how it does. of course the day i finally got time to build and test, i had to switch kits and start over on mem. no complaints tho, i never have enough time anyway haha

Ok so installed Thunderbolt Driver got rid of one error in Device Manager, just one more to go, have to figure out what Base system Device is, think its related to Chipset, I already tried re-installing Chipset Driver and MEI, but didnt change anything.  Re-seated Corsair AIO and applied some Hydronaut, temps improved for sure, by perhaps 7c. The cores running hot in R23 test are the cores boosing to 5.1/5.2 Ghz I believe. Other than XMP I profile enabled, everything else is left stock, havent touched any OC'ing of CPU at all yet. Have installed and tried out Valhalla, CP77 and RDR2, all seems fine, no crashes or freezes. The 0811 BIOS version seems stable with XMP profiles.

I compared my in Device Manager (Hero Z690) list to yours to see if I could spot any differences. I found one... I have "Ports (COM & LPT)" with a sub-leaf of "USB Serial Device (COM3)" using the driver "C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\usbser.sys" Provider: Microsoft; Version: 10.0.22000.1

That bios version caused quite a bit of stability issues for users in the ROG forum and ASUS shortly launched a newer version a few days later. Der8auer did a video about the 12900K and AIOs and it seems that 5.1/5.2 is really the max. I settled for a d4 setup myself. 51/40 with a 43 ring, 3600 CL 13-13-13-28-360 1T in gear 1. My cpu in a bench consuming max tdp hits 100c. In games 60-65 usually. The bracket arctic sent me isn't the nicest fit imo and I do wonder how well the seat is on the freezer II.

I have some DDR5 now, but no Z690 motherboard! I was going to wait for the Dark KP, but who the heck knows how many months away that might be, so bring on the Classy already!

Dang that's generous of you, they're asking AUS $629 for that board alone here in Australia! I know the industry is whining about the extra asking costs this generation of boards and partially excusing it as an early adopter tax but in Australia OEM's seems to be asking an addition 20% on top again.

Figured it out....the Device is the Intel GNA. If I disable it in BIOS the error disappears, but someone on ROG Forum sent me the link to the Driver, so updated all fixed. Thanks though.

Ok going to look for wood to knock on, but this BIOS (0811) has been great on my Apex Board. Been running now 3 days with XMP I enabled and running a number of benchmarks with no issues whatsoever. The Corsair Dominator DDR5 5600 / Cl36 seems to be great. Complete change out of platforms coming from 9900K / DDR4 RAM I didnt even entertain going with a DDR4 Z690 platform...change out platform mean all new, including latest Memory and latest OS, so DDR5 and W11. btw guys checkout MemoryC.com as I have been getting daily notifications of DDR5 in stock from them, mostly GSkill 5600 / 6000 Cl 36 Couple of runs this AM, pushed the 3080Ti to +180 / +1175 (although still on stock air), will begin disassembling, adding Velocity 2 and Vector water blocks, re-install in my 900D Case with the Loop. https://www.3dmark.com/spy/25520312 https://www.3dmark.com/pr/1390578

I will say why not. It will be my first PC that can so I might as well. I have another PC that only runs standard stuff with an overclocked 3770, 32gb, and a GTX 1050 ti with an SSD that does perfectly fine with zero reason to upgrade.

Is everyone going to windows 11 with their new z690 builds? My MSI Z690 carbon with air cooled I9-12900k and G.Skill 6000 CL40 seems to be unstable at anything but base clock speed. I am running a new w10 build and have the latest MSI bios. Each day I start it, I run Cinebench and get 27000+. If it completes I feel fine running games. It was hit and miss with xmp on so I disabled it and now it seems to boot fine.
Intel 12th Gen and Z690 is designed to operate (optimally) under Windows 11 OS.....why introduce issues by installing W10? Time to move on ;)

I just finished upgrading, disabling a bunch of telemetry and updates. Tomorrow I will put it under a stress test at base settings then try speeding things up and see if its more stable.

Running W11 on both my Z690 (12900K) and my Z370 (9900k) machines and haven't experienced any issues so far {touch wood}

When it comes down to actual testing on w11 latency ect theres definitely performance hits vs 10. Even though the scheduler is "designed" for 11, 10 still performs better. I haven't even entertained windows 11 on my 12900K. Depends on what your goals are, but why would you take a 10-20% performance hit on w11 and introduce latency into your games? Not to mention there are actual bugs on 11 and crashes. Once they fix the desktop compositer issues 11 would be viable. 10 is just better and more stable. Go on 11 if you don't care about the best of the best performance in games. I think people just like that shiny new UI but it literally took microsoft forever to make 10 good with the windows compositer not destroying latency over top of desktop games. Older builds were great because you could run exclusive full screen and reduce latency vs not. On the new builds 20H2 and 21H1, exclusive fullscreen is no longer better and actually worse performance. For the longest time windows 10 1709 was the best build in terms of latency. On W10 21H2 is worse than 20H2 or 21H1 as its closer to 11. If you have never ran kovaaks aim trainer, I suggest you pay the 5 dollars and test nvidia experiments where they introduce system latency. 25MS/55MS/85MS. Its incredible the difference between all 3. 25 is butter, 55 is smoothish and 85 is dragging your mouse through mud. If all you ever experienced was 55ms, you wouldn't know how good 25ms is.

I've only read differences in 1-2%, though. And that fluctuates between w10 being better and w11 being better. I was thinking about a comparison with a few games to get a feel of it. Bug wise, I'm not sure. It won't be my daily pc. I'm going to go in and start a game. That is about it.
