I have until 24th to step-up from 1080 Hybrid. I figure my only option will be a Founder's, then I was planning on using the EK TXP block. I could also just keep the Founder's, use it as-is until the HydroCopper, then sell and put money towards it, but I guess not really worth it at that point as I assume the difference will be greater than just buying the EK block.

Just interested what other people who are planning on a water setup for this card are doing.

Well I grabbed the EK nickle block yesterday before they sold out everywhere, Wasn't paying attention and didn't order the Nickle backplate in time and its out off stock everywhere. So yea anyway, the reference ti with the ek block.

Cool. I think I'm going with the Nickel/Acetal and I'm kind of digging their red back-plate. It's aggressive but red/black is my color scheme...

Had EVGA 1080 FE SLI, both running 45C max at 2050Mhz all day with those Hybrid Kits!

I might go with the FE and put a Hybrid, I can't wait until May for the FTW3 tbh.  I've never done anything to my GPU (running a 760) so any tips or advice would be recommended.

I ordered two blocks from ek the moment they showed they would fit the 1080ti. Nickle plexi all the way.

Going to be a hell of an upgrade. First advice would be don't f*#% it up! Just kidding. I'm running a factory 1080 Hybrid so no tips from me, but I think as always you just want to be careful, take it slow, and do some research/watch some how-tos beforehand (for the 1080, for example) to get an idea of everything involved.

I'd imagine there will be a hybrid kit later on.  Any performance upgrade like comparable to FTW if I OC?  Shouldn't overheat or have bad temps to where I can push the cards limit, no?  I've been looking at videos, it seems pretty simple.

Usually rhe founds backplate doesnt because of the screw size that is utilized. I went ahead and grabbed the backplates that I needed to match the blocks while i was buying.

Could have sworn they said they were working on releasing the AIO Hybrid kits for the Titan X and the 1080 Ti FE on the PAX live stream eariler. I'm upgrading my 2 GTX 1070 FTW Hybrids and hate to lose the low temps. If they don't release it I guess I'm going to have to build a custom GPU loop.

Interesting.  But it just doesn't look as good unless they change the design.  But then, it has its own rad and wouldn't have to share with my 360.

But in actuality, it won't fit in my Phanteks Evolv TG.  The 360 and fans block at least a quarter of the rear fan mount and the fittings up front would require a front mounted rad to be banging off my drive cages.

Can i get a 100% for sure that a Hybrid Kit will be available for the 1080 Ti?  I'm Stepping Up and don't want to get stuck with a FE.  I love my current 1080 Hybrids both in performance and in looks.

Hmmm, wonder when/if EK will release back plates that say "1080 Ti" instead of Titan X (would prefer they were just plain actually).

Well the Titan X(P) plexi/nickel blocks were unavoidable (need those naow! haha), but a back plate I think I can hold off on.....maybe
