Which type of mouse pad do you use and what size is it.

Type:
  • Cloth
  • Rubber
  • Plastic
  • Metal with a coated surface
  • Other
Size (Examples):
  • Mini 8 x 10
  • Large  11 x 13
  • X-Large 16 x 18
  • Extended 12 x 36
  • XXL 18 x 36
  • XXXL 24 x 36

I just switched from a plastic (metal coated surface) mouse pad to Dechanic Large CONTROL Soft Gaming Mouse Pad - 13"x11", Black. So far i like the Dechanic Large mouse pad.

I was using evga (metal laminated surface) mouse pad.  Just decided to try out a nice cloth mouse pad.

For years I was using one of the EVGA ones - metal sheet with a fabric coat, I think it was large, maybe extra-large, based on the sizes in OP. Great mat, never had an issue with it, but finally it started to wear thin due to sheer overuse - the fact it lasted as long as it did was amazing. I would have purchased another but they were out of stock.

I'm now using a Razer Goliathus 'Control' Soft Gaming Mouse Mat which I've had almost 2 years and it's holding up very well. Large size. My only 'complaint' is that sitting on a wood desk it shifts a little over time and I have to move it back into place occasionally, but that would be the same for most mats on this surface that aren't basically nailed down lol. I could probably put a dab of glue to stop that, but it's really not a big issue. The mat is heavily textured weave surface with anti-fray stitching around the edges. It tracks really well with the Logitech G Pro gaming mouse I use, and I have the mouse RGB set to the matching Razer green along with my Razer Black Widow Ultimate Stealth (2014) keyboard. Aesthetic value = bonus points. :)

Did you remember to calibrate your G403's sensor to the new mouse pad using the Logitech gaming software?

I did that after i was noticed a tracking issue. My mouse was calibrated to the old laminated surface. Doing the calibration again fixed the issue.

I use a Razer Sphex desktop skin. I have used it for at least three years, it adheres. I use on my KB tray turned 90 degrees,
Sticks great! Guess they have another version.

I am currently using this also , but generally I try to stick to cloth covered rubber ones because of the wear on my wrists is lessened over a harder plastic or metal type.

Was at BBB and thought heck and tried it.  My Deathadder and Basilik glides smoothly over the fine surface texture.  BestBuy is the only PC Gaming source in Hawaii and it's a PITA to buy/return pads from the e-tailers.

Could just use a cereal box cover with tape. Since you're going the cheapest PC gaming route...

Box of cereal is $6-7.  Plastic cutting board was $14.  And I don't eat cereal...   Seriously, if you like big plastic pads, you should take a look at some of the cutting boards.  They can get very pricey.  I looked for micro textures, shape and color.  I'm not a caveman.  I didn't care for the old style plastic gaming pads when they first came out since the textures were more pronounced and pads were small.  I don't care for cloth pads.  The flexible Microthin(tm) or 3M type tend to wear out over time in the same area and slide around without double stick tape.  Had the original blue func and it was too small.  It wore out in places, too.

I've tried a lot of generic, 3m, gaming and other types of mouse pads over the years.  Been using this for the last year or so.

Easy to clean, large, and good surface texture feel.  Rubber edge holds it in place.

Hey the cutting board works great If some one breaks into my house I can whack em with it Lolz

I have used the Razer Goliathus Extended SPEED Soft Gaming Mouse Mat for a few years now and absolutely love it! It's 36" wide.
