Hello EVGA community,

Hope you are all doing fine. Just a quick question i did not manage to find an answer on Google or on the Forum search : which software should i use with my 1080 Ti FTW3?

I noticed PrecisionX's last update is 2019, while PrecisionXOC is 2018 (unless i found wrong information). I know PrecisionX1 is out of the question as it's only for 20xx cards as of now. I also read on EVGA webpage about PrecisionXOC that it has unique features for 1070 and 1080 cards.

For now I just want to turn off the LEDs. I noticed they stay on even when my PC is off. I find it's kind of a waste of energy, but most importantly I don't like to have light in my bedroom when I'm sleeping.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

You can use Precision X1 and or old Precision XOC they both support 10 series  and choose to download
New Precision X1 is now Supports GeForce RTX and GeForce GTX 10 Series Graphics Cards.
Inside the Precision X you will see LED setting so go there set to off see pics below >

For Old Precision XOC

For New Precision X1

I just curious that you said when your pc is off and that LED will not turn off!! It should be led off when PC is shut down!
So try use Precision to turn off led whatever you wish
Let us know how getting on.

Also know that there are lighted mice and keyboards that will not turn off when the PC is Off/Sleeping/Hibernating and that enabling ErP Mode (energy saving) in the BIOS fixes that in many cases..The ErP Mode setting is typically located in the BIOS -> Advanced -> Power Options section and is disabled by default..Depending on your Mobo/BIOS, there may not even be an ErP setting..The downside with enabling ErP Mode is that you may not be able to wake your PC from Sleep/Hibernation using the mouse/keyboard, you would use the power button.

That could possibly fix your card's LEDs staying on.

I was not expecting so many good answers thanks guys. I was wrong my card does have it's LEDs off when the PC is off.

I'll try PrecisionX1 as it's the latest updated.

X1 comes without explanation as to how to use it and it does not appear to work well - I'm going back to OC - which was also crap but at least it was stable

Can you at least elaborate as to how you see it not performing well?
