I'm not a gamer so i don't care about frame rates and such. I use my video cards for computing things like or now so I'm wondering which card will give me the best performance in that regime. I'm using a i9-9900k so its PCIE Gen3 (Come on Intel! Get with the program and release Gen 4 already). At the moment i am using a 1660 TI XC and on a similar system a 2060 KO. I was thinking about going to a 2070 or higher (a 3 series?) but not before i know if it will really be of any benefit
TIA

Thanks for that info. I'm mostly partial to NVidia based cards, so in that line what do you think?

And depending on the application requirements, an RTX 3090 might be cheaper and better than the current top titan/quadro.

Yea for the Actual computing cards are the most expensive cards on the market. Ampere Compute card isn't even announced yet that i know of but duh its on the way. You should look and see how the rtx 3090 compares with the last gen quadros in compute/Titan for compute.
