Hello,

none of shops in our country (Czech Republic) has 1000W or more power supplies fron EVGA in offer. I have EVGA 750 G2 currently and i want to upgrade to 1000W, because i am going to buy 3080 EVGA FTW3 ultra with 400W power limit. I know i could buy another brand than EVGA, but i have single sleeved cables for EVGA power supplies and do not want to invest another 100 Euro to new cables. Why the US EVGA shop is full of item, while EU shop is totally empty? Can someone from EVGA to answer please?

Thank you

Czech the EVGA Where to Buy page for links..Seen some in stock at Amazon UK like a 1000 G1+, 1000 G3, 1000 GQ, 1000 T2 and more..But they may not ship to your location..There's lots of other links to places in the EMEAI (Europe, Middle East, Africa and India) region too, but I didn't czech any of those.

See Which EVGA Modular Cables are compatible with my PSU? in the EVGA FAQs for cable compatibility.

If you wait for the RTX 4080, you won't need to buy a new power supply.

I know that is a bit of a joke.  But, honestly, isn't it a little concerning that all of these people are suddenly needing to buy new power supplies?  Aren't you a little concerned about how much money you will need to spend for silicon which is objectively not great?

With the rumors of TSMC making RTX 3xxx series 7 nm cards soon, I would at least wait a bit to find out if that turns out to be true.  If such a card exists, it would almost certainly be objectively better and not require upgrading your power supply. Spend $200 for an un-needed power supply upgrade now, or wait, and save those $200 for something more deserving.

Even if I was in the market for a new video card, like I did for the GTX 4xx series, I would sit this round out.  These Ampere video cards are flawed. Something better will come sooner or later. With the short supply, high prices, economic crisis, much more important things to worry about, high power consumption, high heat production, etcetera, etcetera, I can't think of a better time to not buy a RTX 3xxx series video card.
