I have been reading…Vince "Kingpin" Lucido thanked industry and the overclocking community and suggesting that he is open now to new hardware partnerships? I must have misread this new and added piece of EVGA news. Does this mean that despite the fact that EVGA abandoned NVIDIA and presently no more GPU business is being conducted, that Vince will further not be part of the ongoing EVGA KP motherboard program as well? Including the all new EVGA MBs which should be on the retail shelves in a few months to come? Or will the next generation EVGA MB collection come out (late again) in February 2023 without a KP signature and with the other OEMs already way ahead in the MB market? No matter...EVGA needs all the sales it can get almost immediately to make it over the next rounds. There have also been fears that their remaining PSU business alone cannot keep bread and butter on the table. Thoughts?

Unfortunately, we don't currently know if there will be more motherboards. Gamers Nexus conjectured that there won't be, but we have no confirmation either way. In one of the other threads, someone asked what new products are coming and one the EVGA staff said Power Supplies. That was all they said. Of course, they generally don't comment on future products before they're officially announced, so we really don't know either way.

It's all...rather unclear at the moment. We don't know if Kingpin is going to follow-suit of TiN and Shamino and finally leave EVGA as well. If there are no overclocking parts...I'm not sure why he'd stay. Motherboards were always a bit of a small pet/side project for them and could definitely make a larger slice of the pie now that GPUs are gone, but we'll just have to wait and see what they do.

Vince has my support regardless of what he decides.

The future is unwritten right now. Companies like Corsair and Thermaltake thrive quite well without making video cards, so EVGA can do well if they plan well.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

Indeed there is a lot of conjecturing all around the industry and then on the other side a lot of hope that EVGA will continue to do business as usual and quickly firming-up their strategies going forward. Even though 'overclocking' in general is deemed to be dead, the limited production of high quality and halo type MB’s is not. I hope that you are correct by saying: “That those could definitely make a larger slice of the EVGA pie now that GPUs are gone.” EVGA by not offering new and continued MB products would also mean that the thousands of previously sold MB’s would now be put in a questionable position or peril of fading ongoing service, driver support, extended warranties, etc. And with this clearly further eroding the sterling reputation of EVGA’s existing service policies along with the survivability of customer loyalty. Personally I believe that EVGA cannot afford or doing a meaningful business without the production of an enhanced or specialty GPU product. Thus INTEL who already invested $3.5 billion to date in its discrete (vanilla looking) GPU development is the best candidate available at this moment in time and with the deepest pockets all around.
