So as far as I can tell, 2080ti has been officially released. However, I haven't seen any way to order the things in any version other than from a scalper on amazon or fleabay. Pre-orders sold out right away, and the pre-ordered cards are shipping with many already having received the cards. When does "normal" ordering for 2080ti based cards open up? I've been watching the page on evga.com every couple hours each day for weeks now and I've not seen any changes... kind of frustrating. Am I watching the wrong page? Is there a "really really" release date that hasn't come yet which I should be waiting for? What's the situation? I'd feel a lot better if I could just order one and pay the money. That way I wouldn't have to keep wasting time refreshing the page for the opportunity to place the order. I'd much rather be merely waiting for a card I had ordered to ship...

You'll want to use nowinstock.net if you don't already. But yeah availability is basically zero right now. Other than occasional stock going up that you have to snatch within seconds, I don't know when the cards will be readily available. I think some later nVidia pre-orders didn't have a ship date until early Nov, so I assume not for a while.

I've not seen it before now, but that site looks pretty cool, thanks! Edit: Unfortunately, that site only lists a small handful of web stores. The only evga branded 2080ti they have listed is on B&H. No mention of evga.com. It's a good idea, just missing some critical sources of products. I had no idea such a site existed, maybe there's others out there with more comprehensive listings.

Yeah it doesn't track a ton of sites. I assume you've already signed up for the auto-notify directly on EVGA's site.

Hello kelemvor! There have been a couple times when we had RTX cards available for general purchase but due to high demand they sell out within about 10 minutes. We are trying to do everything we can to match supply with demand but it can take time and we appreciate your patience with us. As gamers and enthusiasts ourselves, we completely understand the "itch" when new technology is out. If you haven't already, I recommend clicking on the orange "Auto-Notify" button on the RTX product pages. The Auto-Notify feature will send you an e-mail once the cards are available at EVGA.com but if you receive an e-mail you do want to be quick to checkout as they could potentially sell out again.
Like our service? Please provide feedback for us at the link HERE.

I don't understand why they can't just take orders. I honestly couldn't care less if I'm waiting until december to have the card in hand, I just want to place an order and have the pain of dropping $1400 on a video card over with.

Lots of luck involved. Be pre logged into your account. Address is saved to your account as well..Have credit card ready.. copied so you can paste the long thing in and the month year and code memorised. Check often and also check on the forums for Jacob being around.. if hes active on the site its prob cause he working on listing up stock! ;) Check around or little before 4pm,5pm and 8pm eastern standard time and sometimes as late as 10 and midnight I've seen it happen in the past. There it is.. I've giving up all the magic!

Well, I found a Gigabyte branded 2080ti on amazon. I'm kinda bummed that for the first time in well over a decade I won't have an eVGA card but I guess that can't be helped since eVGA won't sell me one. Maybe I'll be able to snag an evga 3080 or 2180 or whatever is next. GTXMan Now in stock just sent me a notification about a Gigabye 2080 Ti In stock at amazon
https://www.amazon.com/gp...dd5&language=en_US
Edit: yep, that's how I found the one I ordered. I guess since it's not shipping until 10/16, I still have a few days to possibly find an eVGA and cancel with amazon. As of 1:04 (9 minutes after I posted) they're gone from Amazon again.

I may be thinking of a different card but I think I read on overclock.net that it’s possible to install the EK water block but I think it involves bending the pins of the fan header. Someone already did it. If you were thinking of replacing the original cooler at some point it might be an issue though I think you can just bend them back.

I'm certainly going to try. The gigabyte cooling solution looks really bad in photos.

I find it pretty interesting that EVGA as a Nvidia only brand always seems to get the short end of the stick on gpu supply. I could be wrong, but it feels like Asus and MSI always have way more in stock. Anyone have proof of this or is it just my imagination?

It could be but in the states, EVGA is the number #1 source for Nvidia GPUs, outselling all the other competitors and now add the world that wants in on it so you can understand the frenzy demand they must have at their hands, not including all their other existing and future products. Maybe, just maybe, Nvidia is only giving a certain amount to each AIB and EVGA might be going through theirs faster than the others and won't get a next batch till the others catch up? Idk.....I surely would like to know about all the delays and all issues related to the RTX line. I want to predict that normalcy won't happen for about 6 months from the RTX release date till things get back on track and people are able to find stock. For those who haven't, expect 2070 delay folks.

And I'm hearing a lot of the cards are DOA or dead after a couple days from many retailers, mostly nvidia FE cards. EVGA tests their GPUs, as far as I know, and if they're having a similar failure rate to nvidia, then that would explain their difficulties. Yields are terrible on these chips and it seems nvidia is trying to salvage what ever turns on and hope the RMAs are kept to a minimum. Such is life when everyone and their brother buys your product before benchmarks or testing is even conducted.

Alot of the posts on the nvidia forum seem to be referencing the nvidia FE cards though and not third party cards. Seem the EVGA cards are fairing the best. This makes sense though why stock might be so low if there is indeed quality control and RMA issues on going. Still hoping to get my hands on a EVGA 2080ti to replace my 1080ti I sold last month.

Remember, correlation doesn't equal causation. nvidia has almost certainly shipped a lot more cards than evga has, so the pool of nvidia shipped cards is higher to start with, hence more reported problems even if the failure rate was the same.

Talk about hear say. https://libraryofbabel.info/bookmark.cgi?jpds.rlakjgjfnxaoapsczoh211and im hearing a lot of the cards are doa or dead after a couple days from many retailers, mostly nvidia fe cards. evga tests their gpus, as far as i know, and if theyre having a similar failure rate to nvidia, then that would explain their difficulties. yields are terrible on these chips and it seems nvidia is trying to salvage what ever turns on and hope the rmas are kept to a minimum. such is life when everyone and their brother buys your product before benchmarks or testing is even conducted.

I usually upgrade my cpu every 5 years and my gpu every 3. Well some how it all lines up to now and I have my i9 on the way with all the stuff that requires. I now need a 2080 ti hybrid. I am starting to think waiting on the rtx titan might be the best bet. I believe they will release one because lets be honest it is nvidia and they greedy asf.

The library of babel contains every 3200 (or less) character phrase that has ever been written or ever will be written. It's just funny to be used as a source, since it could be the "source" for every thought expressed in less than 3200 characters. ;) It's all there. You just need to search for it. Once you search for it, you will find what book number it is written in, where it has been written since the library was started and will continue to be written in the same location until the library is destroyed. lol
