What's with x1 just randomly closing..? Cant trust it for fan curves

I gotta say, after a few updates ago when the task scheduler was "fixed" that used to close x1 after 3 days I was really hopeful this problem would go away. I would really like to use x1 for custom fan curves but the program just isn't reliable enough.

Every once in a while I'll open a game, start playing & notice my 3080 is at 90c with no fans spinning lol. If the program won't stay open 100% of the time, then im better off just using no fan curve and running the card up to 80c on the default curve unfortunately.

Has anyone figured out why x1 just randomly closes..? I don't have this problem with any other programs. Is there another option out there to control all 3 fans on a 3080 ftw3 ultra? I really wish I could save fan curves to the card like the LED colors save. Thanks guys, just frustrated

    It has been up and running for about a week on my PC. It hasn't closed on me in the past either. It can minimized to the hidden icons, which I'm sure you know. The only problems I have with it is that it will change profiles. I think it must map hot keys to numbers and some times see a number typed and thinks it should change. But sometimes it changes when I'm not even using that computer.

    My X-1 is kind of funky too and I also can not get it to start when I power up. I have to do it manually or else my fans just do not run.
    Lots of graphics and data but over all (and keep in mind that I have really liked EVGA and used their components for years) overall, with the latest generation I am far from impressed or confident in their overall  performance or reliability.

    To get it to startup, go into settings click start with OS THEN click apply then save THEN close x1 completely then reboot, try that.
