I'm in the RMA process for a GPU.

I see a "RMA ID" which I believe is the unique identifier for my RMA process. But then, right next to it, there is a "RMA Number" (a 16-digit number). I'm still trying to figure it out what is that supposed to do. Maybe it has something do do with the serial number of the replacement?

Thanks

Return Merchandise Authorization...it's a number that indicates you've had contact with Support, and they agree you need to return the item and get it repaired or replaced...

It's tracked by the company which issues it.

The RMA ID is what is created when a RMA request is made.

The RMA Number is what the RMA is based on once the RMA is approved, this is how the RMA is tracked in our system and this is also the number the RMA department references during the RMA process for your product.
