After quite a few months of insanely absurd prices for cards
THE PRICES ARE FINALLY DROPPING
Even retail prices - I could get a 3060 for 750 eur at this point(150 less than a week or 2 ago!)
And resellers(who buy cards from distributors rather than retail) are now selling 3070 at under 1000 euros!
I do hope this trend continues, once the 3070 reaches ~700 I'm highly considering buying one...

I do hope this trend continues, once the 3070 reaches ~700 I'm highly considering buying one...
Out of curiosity where do you live? Here 3060 still goes for 1k+

So as the EVGA queue is not moving anywhere.
Anybody know of another AIO cooler for a 3080 or 3080TI? That can be actually bought?
I see some 3080TI for around 2k here. But I would really like to AIO cool it.
Anybody know of any other AIO that fits non founders edition cards? 240mm radiator.

Indeed, proof of work-->proof of stake will be a rather massive thing to help regulate the economics of GPU cards in general.

Amazon been super shady since the shortage started tbh. Hardly worth checking it out since it's guaranteed to find some astronomical price coming even from Amazon themselves.

Good Evening, here is the daily status for the EU queues.
The final Teapocalypse is behind us (tho tomorrow may have some residual server traffic as Elite restrictions are lifted). EVGA can now focus on getting the cards in the hands of the watchers.
I noted a small 4 minute move on the 3080 Ti FTW3 line, looking at Neutro's data we should be close to the end of the first group of signees. Let's see if Friday clears that first hurdle and leads us into the 7's.

Only small amount of people is predicted to receive a RTX 3080 this year, bigger chances are to get a RTX 3070.

You can't fix a problem until you first admit that there's one there to be fixed. I never bought the fact going back to last December that the NA could be as far ahead as it was at the time - and it only grew in it's unbalanced progress since.

Just ordered a Kingpin Hybrid 150euro Over msrp, i however i dont feel so happy as it works with an aio and im Using a Custom loop.

Everything is still way overpriced but at least not immediately selling out despite the ridiculous prices. To me, this would logically mean that once the market finally gets full of cards that nobody is willing to buy at inflated prices any more, EVGA can then start directing more stock to direct sales due to the reduced demand from re-/e-tailers. And if they want to sell their inventory, they will be forced to do so at reduced prices. So either way it would be a win for us lowly consumers.

I hate how that's probably true; Once they're no longer able to get scalper price from scalper re/e-tailers they'll start directing more cards towards the notify system, sounds great! I'm not hating on EVGA, even if the notify system is, let's be honest, a joke here in europe, no other AIB has even tried to do anything similar. Though I'm honestly very conflicted whether that's a good thing or a bad thing. So I'm gonna go with the attitude of "it is what it is." The notify system is just a way to maybe have a 0.00001% chance of getting a card at msrp. It's not totally bad if you look at it that way.

Last week or 2 have been massive for GPU prices in my area, retailer stock is steady, reseller market is seeing cards at less than 2x MSRP and even those aren't being actively bought. Maybe I'll pick up a card in July :)

Yea I know that. But they do not cover all the back of the card and the RAM tends to get hot. Plus they use kind of pads. I figure if I have to assemble that thing anyway I can spend the extra 10 euros to get some good minus pads.

Ye I too feed that the supply in the eu is starting to catch up. Sure prices are still often 2x msrp, but the prices seem to be dropping.
I don't see my order at a local retailer make any mayor jumps in position though, so it might just be a couple of select models that are being shipped to eu more.

I'm with you. If I see a 6800xt or 6900xt for a reasonable price anytime soon, I'll be going with that. Not as ideal (especially for VR) as a 3080/3080ti and I may have to buy a better PSU (already brought a new one) but it may be better than this aggravation. Nvidia never go below MSRP because even without shortages and whatnot it'll never be as cheap. EVGA queue for EU members may as well not exist.
