    Because it's free I use VLC when needed.

    Thought I'd try CyberLink PowerDVD 20 and purchased it.  Since using it for awhile, I'm not that pleased.  They have just come out with v21 which costs $34.99 to upgrade.

    VLC with all the codecs. Also Media Player Classic for some unusual file types.

    I use the windows one, its the only one that play atmos with no hassles, I can never get vlc to play in dolby atmos….

    VLC is only good for streaming media. MPV is the best IMO, MPC-HC on Windows.

    I use PowerDVD as well.  I usually upgrade every other version.  The differences in one year...usually not worth it.

    VLC. In the past I'd occasionally have to use MPC with the 'Klite codec pack', but I don't even have that installed anymore. VLC does it all. :D

    Mainly VLC on PCs. Both VLC and Kodi on Shield and FireSticks.
