MowTin I'd like to get the 3090 to drive the HP G2 VR headset. Leave tghe 3090's alone. You don't need them. I do. :)
Same for me + Viewsonic 4k beamer

brimlock I'm hoping for a magical 32 inch 4k monitor with 100+hz RR and at least 600+ HDR to appear. Until then I'll be driving a PG348Q.
Your wish is being granted. ASUS is making one in 27, 32 and 43 inch. Supposed to release this holiday season. The monitor was designed around with the new GPUs and next gen consoles in mind so it will have the latest tech like HDMI 2.1 and such.

Urieldagda I'm stuck with a 1080p monitor with strobing ability. I can't play on a normal monitor without getting severe migraines from the blur. In fact, newer games with Temporal Anti-Aliasing is pretty much destroying my ability to play video games since it's forced blur without a way to fix it. TAA doesn't give me headaches, it makes me get real sick and I start puking before that happens.
I think with a higher refresh rate + Gsync should fix the blur issue. I think that's what they were designed for, ie, getting rid of stuttering, etc.

Personally I'm running a pair of Asus Monitors that (almost) match. I have a PG278QR, a 27" 165hz 1440p 1ms TN pannel for high refresh gaming, and a VG289Q, which is a 28" 60hz 4k 5ms IPS pannel for anything less competitive and more immersive.

I tried 3 of those trying to find one that wouldn't flicker with g-sync enabled. Do more testing because I almost guarantee yours does the same thing. It's not a g-sync issue it's a Samsung issue sadly. For $800 everything needs to work and it just doesn't. It doesn't happen in all game but it does in most. It's a amazing monitor besides that one huge issue though

my main gaming monitor is an lg38gl950g 38" 3840x1600 that i leave set to 160hz. with a 3090 i'll be able to run all my current games on ultra locked at 160 and keep running future games on ultra between 144 and 160, or sight seeing titles with full rtx around 120 or whatever best i can get. my living room has an LG 65c9pua oled i'm upgrading to a 3080 for 4k 120hz so my girl can play all her games in there. currently i have her set up with the tv doing 1440p 120hz because 2080S will only do 4k 60hz and 60hz is absolutely plebeian-level disgusting. none of this matters though because i can't get my hands on the friggin cards!

65" LG CX OLED, 4K 120Hz input/120Hz HDR 10 bit panel - just waiting for that G-Sync firmware update because it flickers at 120Hz with G-Sync enabled.
Combined with the loss of both kidneys and half of my liver for a 3090 FTW3 Ultra direct from EVGA, I'll be set for a good, long time.

Going to hang my old BenQ BL3200 32" 2560x1440 above it just for movies, but I'll probably never turn it on! I hope I can get my hands on a HydroCopper 3080 or 3090 right when they come out. My 1440P was getting blown out of the water by the 3090. So I ordered and waited a bit for an LG 27GN950B. Was a nice bump going from 1440p @ 80hz to 4k @ 144hz it sure is pretty!

I am keeping my eye out for a 5k (e.g. 2160p ultrawide), hdr, 34ish inch monitor with a good refresh rate (at least 120Hz ideally) and possibly OLED if they can prevent burn-in. Made by anyone except Asus since they utterly screwed me over and refused to honor a warranty on a monitor that went kaput a few years ago. Will never buy anything made by them again.

I'm currently running an Alienware 3420 ultrawide... However I'm all about the VR at the moment, as I got my Valve index about a week ago. And there is a plenty of VR games that will easily take all the performance a 3090 will give me. Heck I'm not even going to run Elite Dangerous VR for the first time, till the 3090 arrives. I'm excited. (I'm already loving VR as is mind you.)

Question would you rather dual ASUS ROG PG27's or dual ACER Predatos X27's or 1 4k ultrawide, and which ultrawide do you suggest i am torn, i feel dual screens, i have triple screens for work, but dont know how dual would be for gaming..

Not a big fan of 4K monitor, especially less than 30 in. monitors (yet). So I am running a pair of Samsung C27HG70 27" 144Hz 1440p, along with my Cintiq 27 in (this may need to be updated soon, only my budget will tell, haha). The setup is both for professional work and games.
