Im looking to purchase 2 PCI-E Custom psu cables and one 24 pin atx extension from cablemods.
What length should I order the cables? The two pci-e cables are direct replacements that run from the psu to the graphics card.
This build will be in the Phanteks Enthoo pro m tempered glass. I will probably route the cables up from the psu shroud into the GPU.
The 6-pin and 8-pin pci-e cables are two separate cables and not a jumper.
The 24 pin atx will come right out the grommet beside the motherboard and plug directly in. So that one i assume could be pretty short.
What is you guys experience with the cable lengths? Anyone use anything beside default lengths?
(600mm default for replacement PCI-E cables, and 300mm default for 24pin atx extension)
(Custom lengths for pci-e replacements can be from 150mm to 900mm)
(Custom lengths for 24pin atx extension can be from 200mm to 600mm)
Anyone have suggested lengths for The cables in the case im using with an atx motherboard? (asus maximus x hero z370)
Specs:
Enthoo pro m tempered glass case.
Asus Maximus x Hero z370 motherboard
1080ti Sc2 hybrid (radiator mounted at back exhaust)
H115I cpu aio mounted in front intake of case
So should have plenty of room, even though shouldn't be an issue since the thru holes for each (motherboard connector and gpu connector are fairly close to the hardware)
Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
