I know there isn't much headroom to start with but I'm curious what people have been getting.

I just got mine the other day, I've dialed the GPU in to +112mhz offset and currently working on the memory.  So far memory is solid at +400mhz, I jumped to +500mhz but it crashed, haven't tried a number in between yet.  And that's with no increase in voltage, increasing really didn't seem to help and usually made it more unstable in my trail & errors.

In a game with boost doing it's thing it makes the gpu about 2088mhz and memory 11800mhz

+100 with OCX 6.1.14  stable 24/7  probably more left in it -- but I need rock solid stable

I must have gotten super bad one, the best I can do is +80 w/o crashing Valley benchmark, stock or overvoltage, this is the highest it goes.
And even with that OC, while benchmark is quite stable, most games just crash after while. It also had some issue with temp leds, MEM led showing temp for GPU and vice versa. Perhaps something that was build on Monday.

Ambient temp and fan speed will play a large part in how much these can overclock.  10c difference can make the difference between 2053 and 2088.

Also, use the frequency / voltage curve.  By setting an offset, you're allowing the software to assign the voltage / frequency curve itself....it's simply not very good at it, past the stock curve.

My SC Black boosts to about 1950mhz stable with voltage/powerlimit/temp limit maxed.  About 50C.  but anything past +55mhz it starts to get unstable.

2000mhz is probably the most stable i can get with a custom voltage curve.

Step #1 - Wait 5 months after release of Founders card for the FTW Hybrid after ignoring or just not researching what you are after.
Step #2 - Get lower clocks than a Founders card
Step #3 - Complain about it
Side-Step - Get stuck having to use Precision instead of Afterburner to use features on the card.

OC result <> everyday clock + fan noise.
    But you know that already.

I've hit over 2100 on my regular 1080ti Hybrid.  I'll get results in the morning.  It's in the basement, so it's at cool 45C there.
It's at 2133 on the GPU and just 5503 on the memory, folding away 24-7.

Just as an aside it would be helpful (along with staying with the model of GPU) to post what your typical boost clocks are. The same  or similar offset can result in different boost clocks.

That is why I listed my boost clock & temp because they are tied together, when measuring performance with Nvidia Boost 3.0

How are you guys getting this kind of overclock? I'm only +50 without the touching the memory and i feel like it's already struggling. It's on slave bios with 127 power level and voltage slider all the way up. Hovering between 2025-2037 depending on the temps. Btw, im doing manual overclock not boost 3.0

my max temp is 55C while underload so i don't know why i'm not getting a good overclock. It's also hitting the power limit and i'm seeing 1.93 voltage. Is there i can do to at least keep the boost clock steady instead of bouncing all over the place?

Lower than 50c will help keep the clocks more steady. Not hitting the power limit will also help keep the clocks more steady.

should i just go back and connect the fan directly to gpu instead of using a fan controller? will that help maybe run the fans higher? i also didn't try overclocking in master bios, went straight to slave bios because i heard it gives more power.

My cards are using stock fans - connected in the Stock way - Card controls fans - Custom curve (for the Power & Memory) fan

I am currently testing on an open bench setup (modded old server case )

So, air flow is not an issue I have to worry about

hello, sorry for reviving this thread from the past

Was a FTW 1080Hybrid owner until August where I got a deal for a 1080Ti MSI Seahwak X.pretty decent OCer at 2088Mhz core and +600Mhz on memory

But I was keen to come back to EVGA and last week I managed to find a good price for a used card of that model the FTW3 Hybrid 1080Ti

Just started to play with it last night
using Voltage/Freq curve method in MSI AB, card is stableish at 2075Mhz core(+75Mhz) and 12,200Mhz memory(+600Mhz).
Somehow stable since Benchmark like Heaven or Superposition are OK, but games crash after 15-20min session

Looks like I ma Voltage capped from the get go when the game starts and it eventually crash without any other warning (power or temp limits are fine)

Temps for example are in low 50s

I think the card is on the master BIOS since power target limit is 117% but can you guys give some hints what I should look at with this Voltage cap?

I know there is a unlocked Power/voltage Bios I could cross flash and with the Dual Bios on the card,Its all safe to recover if something goes wrong but maybe there are other options before I do this

    any advice appreciated

+100 with OCX 6.1.14  stable 24/7  probably more left in it -- but I need rock solid stable

Same as the one I just sold
