GDAX. Wonder if someone would post real experiances with taxes. Given what I'm seeing, I would bet 99% don't pay at all.

The only reason I did not "pay" taxes in 2015 and before was that I ended up under the "don't have to file" threshold.
The reason I did not "pay" taxes in 2016 was a combination of moving expences (I moved most of the way across the country in June/July 2015) and startup/growth costs of my business put my taxable income JUST under the "don't have to file" threshold again.
2017 I anticipate having to pay taxes, but am not sure with the major overhaul to the tax code that kicked the standard deduction WAY the heck up - it looks like it may be close, between the expenses of my business in growing and the deduction more or less doubling.
 
I did DO my taxes and made out returns every one of those years, and have kept the records if the IRS decides to audit me for any reason - they've tried to hit me for taxes before on 4 seperate years where I was under the "don't have to file" threshold in the past, I trust them about as far as I can throw the Earth.
 

Another option is to convert it to BTC and use it to buy gift cards. The only down side is the transaction cost.

That being said Charlie lee has been saying litepay should be online soon. Then you can convert to LTC and pay that way.

gyft dot com and egifter dot com both sell gift cards for crypto. I have personally used gyft, so I can vouch for that not being a scam.
