I was looking around for a quick gas price reference and found this; it has the average price of gas for all of the 48 contiguous US states in a nice little map.  
Average gas prices are initially shown by county and if you zoom in it shows prices by zip code.  Zoom down to street level and it shows prices paid in the last 48 hours at a specific gas station.

If all the gasoline made in the US was sold here we would see prices below $2 a gallon. I just filled up the other day and it was $3.09 a gallon.
