I notice that the area around the fans is transluscent. Is all of this going to light up, or is it just the EVGA logo?

Colored lighting has always been a thing so RGB is pretty cool. I just think it can get overly used in a bad way. Or I should say a way I wouldn’t like my case to look. I just hate when you see advertisements that show how you can make it look like a rainbow of colored lights.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

I completely agree.  I'm not a huge rainbow/club show fan while I think it's cool for a short period of time, I do enjoy having RGBs.  I like steady colors towards a PC theme or being used as a tool.  For example my PC case RGBs change color based on the system's water temp so I can walk by and see the system's health at a glance and carrying on with business or if I set it up, could probably move to the beat of music being played. lol

Hit Jacob up on Twitter. He typically gets those notifications much quicker. No one in this forum, aside from EVGA engineers and Jacob will be able to answer that question for the time being.

I doubt it, the MSI Trio has the lighting shown in promo shots. I can understand them not showing it plugged in. Ah well, wont be long to wait now.

The looks of the xc ultra really seems to have divided opinion, i like the chunky heatsink personally, i always felt my current gpu (1080ti sc2) looked a little skinny with its 2 slot cooler.

I did prefer the design of the 10 series "spiders web" shrouds though, I guess the clear acrylic will grow on me in time.

I think the clear plastic gpu looks....not well to me, I seem to find the nvidea cards the nicest out of all the models yet...  I guess the metal look makes it look more expensive
