What does it mean three short beeps?

What does it mean three short beeps and then one beep when it is turned on? I did not find the three beeps in the instruction. Does this mean memory problems? All tests memory pass without errors.

    Does the system run fine? If yes, it could just be beeps from how many devices you have plugged into the usb ports.

    After starting the system is loaded and works normally.The temperature of the processor is shown on the display of the motherboard.Looked decoding ami BIOS,it says that three beeps indicates a failure of the first 64K of RAM.But the system works and is loaded without any problems.I do not know how the signal system is implemented on motherboards from EVGA,so I ask on the forum.

    Got it, I do not have the beep codes for you MB. 

    As your PC continues to POST & does Not Stop on any given Code -- All is probably OK

    My EVGA X99 will "beeb" several times as a Normal part of startup 
     
    Your BIOS may have a silent setting for the beeps on BOOT.
     
    You can run Windows memory tester to confirm your RAM is performing correctly

    Cool GTX. I ran the memory test on the windows, the test passes problems does not detect.
    How many signals are there on your board at startup?
    Just after the asus is not accustomed to hear several signals instead of one.

    turn it off in bios that's what i did two mine i didn't want two hear them ether .

    the new bios is not like olden times as we NOW have a LED display to show error codes and the temperature
    in SOME of the EVGA MB manuals it will tell you the beeps are not always errors
     
    I have done my share of tech manuals and can tell when the cut and paste for one  design and another get information left out.
    The other motherboards and older EVGA board had more information in the BIOS section.
     
    for the most part now you get more beeps the more USB devices you have plugged in.
    ( being a old HAM radio operator  I keep thinking  I am getting a coded messages from the  Borealis )
     
    When in the boot cycle you get a beep and the length of the beep may have extra meaning but the BIOS comes from a third party and hard to get information on that.
     
    BUT i understand you  -- having extra beeps or smoke on the first start up of a new system  is not something a new user needs :-)
     
    --- Warning - system may may need to reboot a few times on first startup  ---  is the one i like the best.

    Cordorb.I already knew it was a usb.But, in the instructions it is not said anywhere that the sound notification is changed. So they look at the description of the AMI bios.

    Hearing three quick beeps at bootup is completely normal. My personal system does the same thing every time I turn it on. You can turn it off in the BIOS under the "Boot" tab and then deselect "Speaker Beep" if you would like. It does not mean that anything is wrong, it just means the system is going through it's POST sequence.
