What does 4133MHz+ mean in the Z370 FTW specs? G-Skill 4266 MHz compatible?

Does it mean that the board is good up to 4133 MHz and maybe more but not guaranteed?

I have G-Skill 4266 MHz RAM F4-4266C19D-16GTZKW (impulse purchase, it's not on the compatibility list but I gambled on the "4133+") and the board won't consistently POST at the XMP profile speed (4133 MHz), only the default of 2133 MHz

What are the chances that the RAM would be supported in a future BIOS release?  I'll just run this RAM at 2133 MHz for now.

4133+ means the board can support speeds greater than 4133 mhz as long as the imc on the cpu is willing.

OK, thanks.  Looks like it's not willing!

I experimented with the manual settings and I can boot at 3600 MHz (and maybe a little quicker even).  Good enough for now.

SPD Speed 2133MHz Link So if need be you can run your Memory @ 2133MHz in Auto Mode as you now are doing.
Tested Speed 4266MHz Did you Test on Both XMP1 and XMP2 Profiles?
