Since my build is new and beefy. I want to monitor temps while gaming to make sure things are ok while gaming.
I can't seem to find a single software that will monitor both GPU and CPU for me and display while gaming except for MSI After Burner.
Is it ok to use this even though my mobo is Z690 Kingpin and GPU is EVGA 3080 12gb?
Are there any other software I can use besides this or will this be ok?
Thanks!

I have been using MSI Afterburner with all my EVGA cards for years.  It is written to work with Nvidia, AMD and now even Intel graphics cards.  I monitor GPU temps, CPU temps, utilized memory, speeds and more.  If your card has ICX technology (FTW) where your fans are
independently controlled...make sure to enable Fan Sync in the lower right hand corner.  That will make all your fans run at the same speed...but will utilize controlling all of them.  If you have ICX3 hardware...the fans will all be controlled by one controller...no need.  I have
experienced very few, if any, issues over the years using this software.  Here is the screenshot of my 2080 TI.

Yea, I installed it. Only want it for monitoring. when the time comes to over clock I'll use EVGA.
    Thanks!

I find Afterburner's voltage curve adjustment interface much better than EVGA's. EVGA's requires many more steps use. For example, you cannot select multiple points on the curve with Precision. You can select one point, move it, then you have save that, select another point, move, save etc etc. With Afterburner, you can move any point or multiple points as you desire without needing to save every single change. They accomplish the same thing.

Also, disabling fan sync does get you a form of asynchronous fan control. Enabled controls all three the same, disabled, fan 1 controls fans 1 and 2 together, while fan 2 controls fan 3.

MSI Afterburner + RTSS + HWinfo

HWinfo has a plugin that links to RTSS so you can get access to even more.

Also MSI Afterburner is overall a better program.

With all respect EVGA has a lot of catching up to do with Precision.
