Like security has been beefed up around here. Woohoo!

Absolutely. We need as much protection from hackers as possible.

I'm glad about the improved security and particularly the 2FA.  It might be a minor pain to some, but it is becoming a standard now.

No formal announcement by them why they were down for almost 4 days?

Hmm, had to be a security breach of some sort.

It was a security breach my User and PW just for this page showed up as compromised on my app some time ago. As everything came back up things are pretty tightened down it seems. I have to get a verification code each time I login... SMH. I appreciate it but yeah...

What app?

A password should be unknowable. Not knowable even to EVGA. It should not be able to be compromised. I wonder if the app knows what it is saying, or if EVGA's password verification and hashing methods were so poor that a password could be knowable.

Dashlane on my phone, chrome and edge they also pop up when something has been compromised and showed up online. What user what pass, and what website and or account. Sure enough my EVGA User and Pass I only use for their site was up. I was like oh that's not good.

A password should be stored as a salted hash and should be unknowable in this form.
I am not sure that I believe that your password was revealed, especially when the service that is telling you that your password was revealed is the service which knows your password. It's very easy for them to say that username X and password Y are used for site Z which had a security breach; but that doesn't mean password Y was figured out by anyone. Like I said, it should be hopelessly obfuscated and impossible to reconstruct.

Having some serious hiccups with product registration, in my case, though! 👀
