Funny, but not applicable to the scenario at hand considering if the sheep could use guns to kill the wolf they would lock n load. Since that analogy simplifies the problem to much to the extent that teeth could also represent fists or knives, and there is no issue in having those removed from society yet both can kill people. Still amusing tho.

Do these displays work in the first place? I personally have never walked into the video game section of a store and seen a display for a game and cared what game it is for. The budget from a publisher for those displays would be much better spent on running more advertisements online as I don't walk into a store and see a display that makes me pull out my wallet and drop $60 because the display looked that good but I will go into a store with the intent to drop $60 on a game that I watched a trailer for online.

I go to Walmart because it's cheap and I can hop in a car and get it now without having to wait for Amazon to deliver it tomorrow. Marketing does not mean much in reference to Walmart. It's purely driven by price point and convenience. What they are doing is pandering and virtue signalling. It's obnoxious, but largely irrelevant.

There are people that smoke marijuana for the medicinal benefits illegally and abide by other laws. Same goes for people that speed. I think it is more proper that people disregard the laws they do not believe in when they feel they can get away with it, but that is not applicable to everyone either.

Yes the whole "Guns don't kill people, people kill people" thing kind of is silly when you realize the people who mostly say it are the ones against universal health care. If the excuse is people are mentally ill why isn't the answer to give them help before they do a mass shooting? As for laws the same could be said for why post a speed limit if people are going to speed anyway. Often times warnings exist that laws could be passed to prevent someone from ever owning a gun. For example hurting a person or animal could be a reason to not allow someone to own a gun or require someone to have a mental health evaluation before being allowed to own one.

I don't think anything walmart is doing will have any real effect, nor is it even intended too. This is just because they feel pressure to do *something* and that was the one that was easiest and had the smallest impact on sales. it'll disappear after a few months when people stop thinking about it so much, and won't end up having any real impact on anything.
Seems that the same arguments are made every time this happens, without ever even testing any of the ideas, nor any attempts to back up what people are saying with results that have happened when an idea was tried elsewhere.
Wow that was cynical heh.

Walmarts are a crime center. The one here has more security cameras just on the entrance than multiple banks combined. I'm always condition red when I'm near it. It's scumbag central and frankly Walmarts have a much bigger issue than video games, it's the patrons.
