I wouldn't be surprised if the number of people trying to get a FTW3 Ultra is higher for the number of people in the queue and while I don't know what thought EVGA has if it was me I would try to bring down the queue for the product people have the most interest in first. I am also wondering if they have looked at all the queues and figured out that a lot of people signed up for all the 3080 line and then looked at the order the cards are put in the list to figure out what people want first then second and third. While a lot of people would take the first one available might as well make the card the majority of the list wants.

I would be in for the HC, but it's quite possibly going to be faster to buy an air cooled card and throw a water block on it when 3rd parties start cranking them out, plus you get to use the new card in the interim. I've gone hybrid for the last ~5 years, but I'm pretty set on a full loop again this time. ..probably. :D

Looks like nothing has gone out today except a few cards that were possibly unclaimed from Friday and were reassigned today to the next on the notify list. That is a far cry from the supposed ramping up of production we were led to believe was happening this week. Getting a little difficult to try to stay positive... 

I'm also a little concerned about the increasing issues people appear to be having with these cards when they received them. Are NVidia rushing past QC in order to just get cards out the door to meet even a small percentage of the demand?

What's your point? Almost nothing went out today. That is not ramped up, it's not even staying at the same rate, it is a very definite decline. I hope that will change, but it's been over a month since the 3080 was launched, and not much shy of a month for the 3090, and look how little has come out in all that time. That's pathetically poor production planning.
 
..and just to reiterate, this is not EVGA's fault, this is all on NVidia.
 


The point is that it’s only Monday. Every week has been more cards than the prior week. To go on complaining that they aren’t ramping up when you have no evidence of that being true isn’t honest. Again. It’s only Monday. Let’s see what happens this week. At the end of the day no one is forcing anyone to buy these cards. Go pick another vendor. I get notifications everyday on discord about availability and I have actually added cards to my cart to see if I could but never purchased because I’m ok with waiting. If you aren’t then go find some other card. You could probably have one on it’s way to you in a day or 2.

It's that throwing on the block/kit that worries me. Although after a kraken G12 and a H55, which you had to hold with two sets of hands, and do both at the same time,  in a job that felt like it needed two people, I imagine the kit would be simple lol.
 
Did your hybrid having the infamous buzzing sound that the other thread was talking about?

I mean why would they put higher bin chips in lower end cards though... most of what NVidia is shipping right now is probably good bin so they're mostly making higher end GPUs as a result.  Again, this is something I'd be mad at NVidia for, supply is the core problem, and that doesn't really fall on eVGA dude.

I was one who did not claim a 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming notification on Friday.   
 
I have a 2080 Ti XC Gaming and decided to wait until at least next year to replace it.

Nope, I'm on the queue and still waiting.
 
I looked at the spreadsheet and it seems none of the notifications for the XC3s have gone out yet. I'm not buying the whole only the FTW3 are coming out because only top binned chips are what Nvidia is providing. If anything usually the 1st gen chips have the worst bins and as the process matures and the yeilds improve the binning gets much better. So if the current 3000 series chips are good enough for FTW and OC cards. The chips aren't going to get worse but only better. Which means those chips are good for the XC3 and lower tier cards from other manufacturers. It just smells of Nvidia not giving the AIBs enough time to build enough cards and stock up before launch. I've stopped looking for 3080s, they'll show up when they show up I guess.
