My RTX 280 Super KO  is having issue running Call of Duty Black Ops and Watchdogs Legion.
It's getting these errors when I check the event log:

Event 4109, Display
Application WatchDogsLegio has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware.

Event 4109, Display
Application BlackOpsColdWa has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware.

The description for Event ID 13 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
\Device\Video3
Graphics Exception: ESR 0x52dfb0=0xb050020 0x52dfb4=0x4 0x52dfa8=0x7c12b72 0x52dfac=0x174
The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

I have performed the following to troubleshoot it.
Backed up personal files and performed a clean install of Windows 10 20H2 build (formatted the OS drive again)
Checked the debug mode option in the Nvidia control panel and tried to play Call of Duty Black Ops (got event 13 above again)
Performed a uninstall of the Nvidia driver using DDU and by uninstalling it via device manager. Installed the latest Nvidia driver.
Updated BIOS on PC to latest version. Updated drivers for the motherboard, including audio, chipset etc.

I can play games like Overwatch, Red Dead Redemption 2, Fortnite and Apex Legends just fine.
I have followed the troubleshooting articles on this forum and other sites (ran the sfc /scannow, created the trdDelay registry entries etc.)
I rolled back the drivers to when it all seems to work (the last November drivers 457.30) I uninstalled Geoforce Experience and left it off
I moved the RTX 2080 Super KO to the other video card slot on the motherboard.
The PC is a CyberPower PC, Intel i7 8th generation (new May 2019)
PSU is an EVGA - GQ Series 850W ATX12V/ EPS12V 80 Plus Gold Modular Power Supply so I don't believe it is a power issue.
Anyone have any ideas that I can try that may resolve this issue. The random crashes are a frustrating.

    That is exceptionally weird.

Are you using the 'studio' drivers or the standard WHQL version ?
In any case, I would download the standard WHQL driver from nvidia and do a clean install method with them ...

I have tried this with both. Currently have it on the WHQL without Geoforce Experience.
Did the DDU removal of drivers in safe mode then install of the driver to the latest.
Just talked to support and they are going to start an RMA for me.

I'm not using a Windows Insider version of Windows 10. 2H20 is the October 2020 official update for Windows 10.

Fair enough how about this one Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War Error 3107840166 Fix, Fatal Error, Error Code: 0x0 (0xE4BD8598), Error Code: 0xC0000005, Error Code: 887A0005, Application Unexpectedly Stopped Fix
As for the Black Ops Cold War Error Code: 887A0005, this error is occurring due to the game’s RTX. Disable RTX features in Black Ops Cold War and the error will be fixed. If you are getting this error on a non-RTX GPU then try reducing the GPU clock by 150 MHz and the error will be fixed. Alternatively, players can drop the resolution scaler in the graphics options to reduce the GPU load. This will stop the game from crashing.

Edit: There are so many CoD Black Ops!

Yes I know the RTX can be disabled in COD. Game doesn't look very good non RTX. Watchdog Legion also is crashing.
Shouldn't have to disable RTX on all my games. Kinda defeats the point of having an RTX video card.

Well, besides those games being poorly coded ..I have a similar card and have never seen that error in Cold War.
I have gotten a few others though. The game is fairly buggy. ...but/...

From what I could gather on your issue was;  nobody had a clear answer - some were saying it was a malware issue, some say it was the anti-virus software,... others claim turning your NVidia control setting to " prefer max performance' will fix that problem,....&  I even read that that issue can be solved by  selecting to run the game with 'admin permissions' ...

SO that was all I could find for you ....

I started the RMA process on it as the support person and I agree with this as well.

Got my replacement card today and so far so good. Played COD Black Ops and Watchdogs tonight without any errors popping up.
