The tubing was a box of old stock I had kicking around,,,,simply wanted tio use it up....very stiff..n hard....my tip when you have tubing like this is to soak the end in a small bowl of hot water...this will soften it up enough so it can be easily slipped onto the barb ends of your compression fittings.

Thanks.....I've been running my rigs on custom loops since 2013.....after so many tear downs,,,re-builds....etc, you learn by your mistakes and every re-build actually gets a little easier.....installing your fittings and some tubing (leaving extra length to cut) on to your rads and prior to installing rads is another good tip for those hard to reach spots.
 
btw I know the Corsair 1600w is crazy for this build, but I came off of a SLi (and even played with Tri SLi), hence that PSU....although it is dead quiet ;)

Got very lucky n scored an 3080Ti FTW3 Ultra, so will be draining and swapping out the 3080 FTW3 Ultra....!!!
I never could crack that Port Royal 13K score w the 3080..so damn close...the 3080Ti should be sniffing for 15k if it overclocks as well as the 3080 does ;)

I'll always prefer brown PCB and noctua fans over RGB. Needs a bit more brown

^^^ This build is on the performance / cooling efficiency side vs bling ;) These Low RPM High Static pressure Noctuas teamed up with some Low FPI Radiators provide solid results...couple of hours of CB77 and my 3080 is at 42c ;)

Able to finally update Mods Rigs page....replaced 3080FTW3 with 3080Ti FTW3.....re-installed EK Block etc.
 
3080Ti FTW3 OC's very well, finally hit a wall @:
+195 / +1450.....+200 CTD....
24/7 Gaming OC:
9900k @ 5.1 Ghz (All Cores + 1.355v)
3080Ti FTW3 Ultra +135/+725
 
Benchmark scores definitely up a bit from 3080FTW3......but as it was tough t0 crack 13K on my 3080...15K is proving a challenge on my Ti, as is Timespy 20k
 
In all honesty real time comparison between 3080FTW3 and 3080Ti FTW3 is DLSS set at Quality vs Balanced playing CB77 @ 3440*1440p.....both the 3080- and Ti variants are absolute beasts..
 
EK Block effectively keeps temps on the Ti in check, havent seen anything more than 46c playing either CB77 or RDR2 for extended periods, all good.......next GPU will be RTX 50xx series ;)
Next platform upgrade....perhaps 2nd Gen Alder Lake (or whatever Lake comes after Alder)  ;)

9900K @ 5.2 Ghz Uncore 4.9 Ghz / 1.385v
Dominators 3200 Mhz CAS 16

3080Ti FTW3 Ultra - stock bios (450w) no rebar install / no voltage curve or under volting / all OC'ing done with Afterburner.

Core +195 Mhz / Memory +1150 Mhz (I found if increasing Memory speed higher than 1150 Mhz results in diminishing returns) slight increase in Voltage

Timespy - 19,728 (just shy of 22K Graphics)

Pretty much have hit my wall unless I can get my temps lower than 41c / 42c.....perhaps in another month when I get the ambient in my Office down to 15c or so I will be able to get higher.
Card wont draw more than 430w running benchmarks, but did see 444w running Kombuster (full screen).

Swapped out RAM for 4*8G GSkill Royals 4000 17-17-17-37......nice stciks but sure bright.
