VR and VRAM Q?

So obviously using a VR headset which generates two different perspectives of the view (one for each eye) uses more GPU power to process, but does that effectively double the VRam usage?
I mean, technically it's the same textures, so I could see why it wouldn't.

    No, it doesn't increase the VRAM usage since it's the same scene being rendered just from 2 slightly different perspectives. All the same assets are used in each scene no additional textures are loaded into VRAM.
