When I finally get the chiller to cool both CPU and GPU , is it better to T off for feed and return or just have the loop in and out to both in series.
Thought I might get better flow and cooling in parallel.
Thanks again.

Probably best to go series, GPU first. If you go with parallel, and one block provides more resistance than the other, you may lose some flow across the fins.

In series, the GPU won’t hear the water all that much, if at all, and then the cpu will still get cold water.

You could also go parallel by run to the inlet run to one side of the GPU, pass through and into the inlet of the cpu, the out of the CPU into the GPU, as well as out at the same time.

I will try to grab you a picture. You do not need any Y’s or T’s.

Like this: The inlets are both on the left, the outlets both on the right.  Parallel..  confusing looking, but still parallel. It will also use the same amount of fittings you would have required when considering the other method for parallel, without the Y's and T's.

I agree - back pressure will determine flow through any device

This would give a larger flow of coolant through the device with the least resistance

Of the OPs choices listed = "Y" is the winner - less turbulence

In parallel connections liquid flow will be lower through more resistive block, so in general it's recommended to go in series, unless you want to run the same blocks in parallel, that way the flow rate will be the same.
